Evelyn Tomaro is a music director, conductor, and keyboardist specializing in musical theater. Evelyn began as a choir accompanist at the age of 8 and began playing for pit orchestras at age 14. As a music director her credits include Dogfight, The Last Five Years, Guys & Dolls, A Bronx Tale, among others. She made her 54 Below Debut as the music director for Acts of Love: The Songs of Jason Robert Brown this past January. She has also played keys for countless shows including Into the Woods, Anastasia, Pippin, Sweet Charity, SpongeBob, and more.
Evelyn's most recent work as a composer includes her newest single, Do You Think You're God, released in April 2025, and her single Slushie, streaming on all platforms now. She is also a two-time winner of Curtain Up, Berklee's Musical Theater Songwriting Contest, with her original theater songs Why Can't I and A Woman selected to be performed at the Berklee Performance Center.
Evelyn graduated from Berklee College of Music with a BM in professional music and minors in musical theater conducting and musical theater writing. She is currently the Music Supervisor and Music Director at the Mac-Haydn Theatre in Chatham, NY.
